NYC represent!

This man in particular was in a friendly mood - came over to observe the drawing! Apparently liked it...I loved the placement of the plastic bag against his hand and the plaid jacket!

Back to the 6 train - this time around I was fortunate to observe some interesting folding of fabric worn by my fellow travelers. I had lots of fun putting it all down on paper!

new series in progress

I was in Thailand in April and decided to do a series dedicated to local flora! :P Although I lived there for most of my life never really closely inspected or drew the flowers...so this time around I went all out and did close to 20 drawings...hopefully will come out as vibrant as the flowers themselves!

Using Dr.Phil Martin's Hydrus fine art watercolor as well as my russian watercolors :P
